A guide to sublingual strips
What a dissolvable film actually is, how to take one well, and why the format makes a daily habit easier to keep.

Most people don't abandon a supplement because it stopped feeling useful. They abandon it because it was one more thing to swallow, one more bottle to remember, one more glass of water on a morning that was already full. The sublingual strip is a quiet answer to that problem — and it is worth understanding what it is, and what it is not.
What a strip is
A sublingual strip is a thin, flexible film roughly the size of a postage stamp. It is made from food-grade film-forming ingredients that hold a measured amount of an active — vitamin B12, magnesium, melatonin and so on. When you place it beneath your tongue, moisture softens the film and it dissolves, typically within 30 to 45 seconds.
"Sublingual" simply means under the tongue. The tissue there is thin, which is why it has long been a preferred spot for things meant to be taken without swallowing.
The ingredient does the work. The format is what makes it happen every day.
How to take one well
- Start with a clear mouth — wait a few minutes after coffee or a meal.
- Dry your fingertips, open the pouch, and place the strip under your tongue.
- Let it rest. Try not to chew or swallow while it dissolves.
- Once it's gone, carry on. No water required.
Why the format matters
Consistency is the least glamorous and most important part of any routine. A strip is pre-dosed, so there is nothing to measure. It is individually packaged, so it travels in a wallet, a gym bag or a jacket pocket. And it is low calorie, so it slots into almost any eating pattern.
Those small frictions — pills that are hard to swallow, powders that need a shaker, gummies with a spoonful of sugar — are exactly what a strip removes.
What a strip is not
A strip is not a medicine and it is not a shortcut. Our strips are dietary supplements designed to support everyday wellness alongside sleep, food and movement. If you take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a health condition, talk with your healthcare provider before adding any supplement.
If you're not sure where to begin, our three-question quiz will suggest a single strip and a routine that fits your day.
